Professional Bio
With over two decades of experience serving communities across North America, Dr. Imran Qureshi brings together a rare fusion of grassroots activism, academic rigor, and visionary leadership in Islamic education-tarbiyyah. He is the founder of Momintum, a platform focused on empowering youth, transforming Islamic education, and building spiritually grounded communities.

A Passion for Revival
Dr. Imran is often described by students as a “pyromaniac of purpose” — someone who ignites conviction, thought, and action in those he teaches and mentors. His work is about more than unquestioning acceptance; it’s about killing educational “zombies” — breaking free from lifeless models that produce compliance without conviction, and action without knowledge.
He champions the development of …
- passion over fear,
- responsibility over deniability,
- commitment over burden,
- willpower over obedience,
- intellectual humility over certainty,
- creativity over trivial,
- collaboration over isolation, and
- entrepreneurialism over industrialism.
The vision reflects his belief that revival (iḥyāʾ) means reawakening the fitrah, rekindling our connection to revelation, and reimagining educational and community spaces that raise thinkers, reformers, and leaders.
